Where is the book available?
Winging It
  is available in the US from the major online sellers and from bricks-and-mortar bookstores.  Online sellers include Barnes & Noble, Books-a-Million, and Powells.  IndieBound, linked at right or below, can provide a connection to independent bookstores, with availability varying by retailer.  Internationally, the book is also on sale in the UK, Australia, New Zealand, and other English-speaking countries, and via internet outlets in several European markets as well.

Is there an e-book?
Yes, there is an e-book version for the Kindle and Nook readers.

Is there an audiobook?
Yes, an unabridged audiobook is available, released in July 2014, and can also be found at several of the bookseller links.

What are the photos and illustrations?
Winging It has 37 photos by professional photographers.  The photographs in the print version are high-quality black-and-white images, nearly all of America’s Cup racing. Among the selections are about two dozen images of racing and training for the 2013 Louis Vuitton Cup and America’s Cup in San Francisco, plus others of the America’s Cup World Series, the sailors, and the 2010 America’s Cup match.

The illustrations include: Course 1 and Course 2 for the 2013 LVC/AC; Nautical chart showing location of the races in San Francisco Bay; Diagram of an AC72 catamaran; Diagram of AC45 catamaran components as related to Oracle Team USA’s penalty; Graphs showing comparative tacking speeds of the Challenger and Defender in the Cup match; and Graphs of costs, competitors, and winning margins over the entire history of the event.  The appendix includes a table of all of the races of the 2013 America’s Cup match; the winners of all of the America’s Cup matches to date; the text of the Deed of Gift; and a detailed index for the book.

What does the book cover?
The focus of the book is about racing in the 2013 America’s Cup Match and the 2013 Louis Vuitton Cup challenger selection series.  Efforts by the sailors, designers, and event organizers that were directly a part of the racing, the training and preparation, and the development of the AC72 multihulls, are the primary parts of the story. The America’s Cup Match and Louis Vuitton Cup Final are covered race-by-race.  The history of the Cup in regard to core issues like technology, expense, nationality, and the quality of competition is discussed, along with recent developments in the America’s Cup world that helped shape the 34th Defense for 2013.  For more information Click here to preview the Table of Contents
